Policies

Returns/Exchanges:

We offer a 7-day unconditional inspection period to make sure the item you bought is right for you.  If for any reason you are not satisfied, please notify us within 7 days of receipt and return the item back to us in its original condition for a full refund or exchange (less the cost of insured shipping; refund issued upon receipt and inspection of item).

Please note that alterations requested to any piece prior to the sale, or alterations made after the sale, constitute a FINAL SALE (this includes, but is not limited to, ring sizings, mounting a stone, etc). 

Shipping:

Our preferred shipping method is Fed Ex or UPS.  We feel that it's the safest and most cost effective service.  Buyer is responsible for round trip shipping costs on any returned items, which will be deducted from your refund (in the case of a return). 

We require that all items be shipped fully insured for the full purchase price, and a signature is required for delivery (alternately the package can be held at a nearby Fed Ex hold-at location upon request).

We ship within the US via Fed Ex or UPS Priority Overnight.

For international shipments,there will be an additional 75.00 shipping charge.  Note that the buyer is responsible for any and all customs duties or import taxes charged by their country's taxing authority, which will be charged on delivery of your item.

Sales Tax:

Sales tax will be charged to buyers who reside in the state of Washington.

Upgrade Policy:

We are very pleased to offer a flexible upgrade policy!  If you are interested in upgrading your LAD piece we will happily offer you full purchase price credit towards any item in our inventory priced at 1.5x or greater the value of your trade.

Your item(s) must be returned to us in its original, undamaged condition and accompanied by any original grading reports, if applicable, as well as a copy of your receipt for items purchased from JbEG. Costs to refurbish and/or repair your item will be deducted from your credit (including but not limited to: replacing missing stones, repairs to shank or prongs, buffing and polishing, re-certification due to missing reports, etc.)  We will keep you informed of such costs accordingly.

Please note that consignment items purchased are not eligible under LAD's upgrade policy. 

Trade-In:

On occasion, we accept outside pieces for trade-in, the value of which cannot exceed 50% of the item you are purchasing.  Please note that, while this is not our normal practice, we will consider trade-ins on a case by case basis.
